Baer is looking for SAP Payroll Implementation Lead for a 12 month project located in Rosemead, CA
Title: SAP Payroll Implementation Lead
Location: Hybrid Rosemead, CA
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or Individual C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Description:
- Lead workshops for requirement gathering and design of SAP Employee Central Payroll solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs.
- Manage and review RAID (Risk, Action, Issue, and Decisions) for the payroll workstream, proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide expert support for the configuration and design of SAP Employee Central Payroll, ensuring seamless integration with Core HR, Time Management, and Third-Party systems.
- Coordinate with offshore teams and client stakeholders to resolve payroll issues, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support regular, off-cycle, and ad-hoc payroll runs, addressing payroll data issues and ensuring accurate financial postings in accordance with business requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in SAP Payroll implementation, with a proven track record of at least one full end-to-end implementation in complex environments.
- Strong technical expertise in SAP Employee Central Payroll, including configuration, design, data replication processes, payroll parallel testing, year-end processing, and BSI configuration.
- Experience with SAP North America payroll deployment for the utilities industry, especially in highly unionized environments, understanding the unique payroll challenges and requirements.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors Employee Central and its integration with SAP Payroll, including payroll data management and replication.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
