Baer is looking for SAP Plant Maintenance/Asset Management EAM Lead for a 12 month project located in Houston, TX.
Title: SAP Plant Maintenance Asset Management EAM Lead
Location: 20% remote - 80% travel to Houston, TX
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:
- Lead SAP projects related to Asset Management (Plant Maintenance/EAM), ensuring successful implementation and support.
- Implement SAP Service and Asset Manager (formerly known as Work Manager or Asset Manager) for clients.
- Manage the implementation of SAP Maintenance Resource Scheduling (RSH).
- Implement phased-based work orders in SAP.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
- Provide expert guidance on Asset Management principles and best practices.
- Lead and manage SAP project teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Advise clients on industry-specific finance and technology functions, helping them improve processes.
- Research emerging trends, client inquiries, and new technologies to provide solutions.
- Travel up to 80% to meet client needs and support project delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of consulting experience in an SAP Asset Management (Plant Maintenance/EAM) lead role.
- Experience implementing SAP Service and Asset Manager (SAM) and SAP Maintenance Resource Scheduling (RSH).
- Strong understanding of Asset Management principles and practices.
- Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and leading project teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and technical writing.
- Ability to research and solve complex client issues, including understanding industry regulations and emerging technologies.
- Preferred but Not Required: Experience in the Oil and Gas industry and Based in Houston, Texas.
