Job Summary :
Baerlocher USA is seeking a skilled and passionate Applications Specialist to join our Plastic Additives team. As a key member of our research and development department, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, testing, and developing applications for our additive products in collaboration with our customers and internal teams.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Manages the daily activities of the Plastics Application Lab
- Cleans, maintains, and calibrates applications lab equipment as needed
- Performs applications testing as directed and report results
- Assists with raw material evaluations
- Assists with making and shipping customer samples
- Prepares samples for internal testing
- Assists technical staff in developing new test methods
- Performs testing as needed for production issues
- Responsible for adhering to the Quality Management System
