POSITION SUMMARY:
Bagatelle is an experience. It's a place to enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner and feel like you were invited into the home and table of an epicurean bon vivant from the French Riviera. It's a place to celebrate the South of France’s festive spirit, generous cuisine and friendly atmosphere. The Busser with Bagatelle is expected to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, while being able prioritize and organize. You must be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems all while using good judgment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
· Must be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, at all times
· Adhere to all Bagatelle policies and safety rules
· Assist with expediting the delivery of all cuisine in a courteous and efficient manner and according to restaurant specifications
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant, service areas and equipment
· Have knowledge and understanding of the menu and are able to answer questions in regards to ingredients and allergens
· Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, prioritize and organize
· Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all policies and standards of service.
· Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
· Maintain complete knowledge of tables and sections, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price range and dress code.
· Always maintain positive guests relations.
· Quickly transport trays from the restaurant floor to the breakdown area
· Complete closing side duties as outlined in SOP's
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to read, write and speak in English is needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job
· Minimum 1 year experience at a fine dining establishment
· Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
· Excellent time management
· An approachable attitude
· Highly organized and able to work fast
· High school diploma or equivalent is required
Working Conditions
· Hours may vary if emergencies arise
· While performing the duties of this job, the individual in this role is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to walk.
· The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch and twist
· The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
· Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
· Working conditions can at times involve hot, cold, and potentially hazardous equipment and the operation of office equipment
WORK AUTHORIZATION:
