Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food service, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while maintaining efficient front-of-house operations.
Starting pay $16/hr including tips. If you prove to be a valuable member of the team we will reward accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Making and preparing food made at the front of house, toasting, preparing bagels
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including daily cash reconciliation and deposits.
- Assist in the hiring and training of new staff, conducting interviews, and providing ongoing coaching.
- Oversee the operation of the Clover POS system to ensure accurate order processing and payment transactions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve service quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
