We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic team and help us deliver an exceptional culinary experience.
Position Overview:
As a Barista, you’ll be the face of our shop, crafting exceptional coffee and tea beverages while delivering friendly and efficient service. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure every customer leaves with a smile (and the perfect bagel-coffee combo).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks, to order.
- Maintain knowledge of our menu, including bagels and sandwich offerings, to provide recommendations to customers.
- Operate, clean, and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring high-quality beverage preparation.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and handling transactions efficiently.
- Keep the barista station and front-of-house clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a welcoming, positive atmosphere.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal drinks or specials that align with our brand.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista in a café or coffee shop is preferred but not required—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
- Passion for coffee, tea, and customer service.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality beverages.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and using a POS system (TOAST).
