What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at BAHA Construction?
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- 30-hour OSHA certification.
- Proficient in Reading Blueprints and Project Documents.
- Scheduling experience.
- Prefer 10 years of experience as a Superintendent.
- Promote Job-Site Safety.
- Coordinate and supervise the construction process through final construction, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Develop and distribute “Look Ahead” schedules to subcontractors.
- Work with all parties, including Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, Laborers, and others who are involved in the construction process
- Determine the best way to get materials to the building site and the most cost-effective plan and schedule for completing the project.
- Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors.
- Determine the labor requirements.
- Oversee the performance of all subcontractors and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule.
- Oversee the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment; worker productivity and safety; and the quality of construction.
- Responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and monitoring compliance with building and safety codes, other regulations, and requirements.
- All other duties as required.
