ALF Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care. This position requires a strong commitment to the well-being of others and the ability to work effectively with individuals with Dementia.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
• Provide emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
• Engage clients in recreational activities that promote physical and mental well-being.

Skills

• Proficiency in First Aid and CPR techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience in home community care or working with individuals Dementia or Alzheimer's is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living environment.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols in personal care or nursing home settings is beneficial.
