Setting and Reporting
The role of the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement is multi-dimensional, the primary role of the QA/I function is to act as an independent and objective control over data quality and through its activities providing insight into the effectiveness of a firm’s data integrity controls. Reviewing and Monitoring of all processes and procedures suggesting updates to and/or creating new processes and procedures.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the audit, oversight, and management of the company operational programs and any other services as directed.
· Assure programs follow state and federal regulations and BAIG Agency quality expectations.
· Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for all programs.
· Direct QA survey reviews and develop all BAIG Agency QA review formats.
· Review, Monitor and Report on agency accidents/incidents.
· Develops quality improvement training.
· Leads agency investigations.
· Ensure agency compliance with policies, contracts, and licensing.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of the company, the incumbent’s role includes but it is not limited to:
Supervision and Leadership
· Assess, develop, and implement agency-wide quality assurance and compliance programs that ensure the implementation and continued delivery of effective client programs and services.
· Assist in the development of BAIG Agency policies and procedures.
· Assist in assessing and developing training/quality assurance/compliance needs and curriculum for staff of all levels to ensure delivery of quality services.
· Chair and coordinate Right Review Committee meetings.
· Develop and coordinate QA activities and QA Plan
· Coordinate follow-up and maintain tracking system for Accident/Incident Reports.
· Develop and maintain training modules.
· Develop and manage agency conferences, training programs and continuing education.
· Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented in agency programs.
· Ensure that the quality and professionalism of all agency programs are maintained.
· Develop and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with staff.
· Actively promote the mission of BAIG Agency.
Overall Developmental Disabilities Program
- Ensure the implementation and oversight of services provided to the people supported as designated in their service plans.
- Ensures ongoing regulatory compliance of all programs.
- Ensure compliance and best practices with State and Federal Regulations across the programs.
- All information will be forwarded to the owner of the company.
- Develop strong working relationships and networks within the disability and mental health service fields to continue to grow and find new development opportunities.
- Ensure that all programs are adequately staffed,
- Ensure the highest level of quality in all program/service environments.
- Provide resources to the community as needed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Recruitment Qualifications
Work Experience
This position requires the ability to be deemed eligible to provide services per Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Preferred applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developmental disabilities service or Human Services or related studies required.
A minimum of three years supervisory experience working in a residential or vocational setting for people with disabilities to be considered for this job.
Computers and applications
Experience using Microsoft Office Package. At least two (02) years in using Therap.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Services, or a related field, or being DD field.
