About the Role & Responsibilities
Analysts are provided the opportunity to play a meaningful and client facing role in each transaction, while also building key professional skills for future careers in M&A fields. Analyst responsibilities vary but include :
- Assisting with client pitches and proposals, including preparing high-quality engagement materials describing the client business and future growth prospects and synergies with potential buyers
- Preparing detailed financial analyses to effectively model the client’s business and future growth opportunities as well as identify and research potential buyers or investors for each engagement
- Assisting the client with the coordination of the due diligence process between transaction parties
- Staying abreast of new developments within the firm’s coverage areas by tracking buyers, conducting recurring calls with industry players, and tracking public and private company deal activity
