Bailey Collaborative Soultions is seeking skilled Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Propulsion (GNCP) Flight Software (FSW) Test Engineers to support NASA's Orion Program, the next-generation spacecraft designed for deep space exploration, including the Artemis missions.
As part of this groundbreaking program, you will have the opportunity to work on GNCP systems for the Orion spacecraft , which will carry astronauts around the Moon and pave the way for human exploration of Mars and beyond . Your expertise will be essential in testing and validating mission-critical software that ensures the safety and performance of Orion's onboard systems.
This position is based in Houston, TX , with potential hybrid or remote work options available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, execute, and analyze software tests to validate the GNCP Flight Software (FSW) for the Orion spacecraft .
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper integration and functionality of software with GNCP subsystems .
- Utilize Python to automate test scripts and support software validation efforts .
- Document test plans, results, and identified issues , providing detailed feedback to development teams.
- Support verification and validation (V&V) activities for mission-critical software , ensuring compliance with performance and safety requirements .
