In this role, you will conduct GNC analysis and develop simulations to support the Artemis missions , ensuring Orion's ability to navigate, control, and maneuver safely in space. Orion will transport astronauts to the Moon, Mars, and beyond , playing a pivotal role in NASA's Artemis program . As a GNC Analyst, you will contribute to the future of human spaceflight by ensuring the spacecraft's flight systems operate safely and accurately throughout each mission.
This position is based in Denver, CO with potential hybrid or remote work options available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform GNC analysis to evaluate the performance of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
- Develop and enhance MATLAB models and scripts for spacecraft dynamics and control system analysis.
- Utilize Simulink to support system simulations and model-based design efforts.
- Analyze vehicle stability, trajectory, and attitude control performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support GNC system verification and validation.
- Provide technical insights and recommendations to enhance system performance.
