Bailey is seeking a customer-focused and organized Parts Clerk to join our team! This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department by providing outstanding service to customers and internal teams. The Parts Clerk will handle sourcing, ordering, inventory management, and customer support while contributing to the overall success of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a parts representative for walk-in customers, providing professional assistance and support.
- Source and procure parts for lift trucks based on customer and technician needs.
- Manage phone orders, process requests, and provide accurate parts quotes to customers.
- Order parts for stock and technician use, ensuring availability and timely delivery.
- Assist with inventory control, maintaining accurate stock levels and records.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to coordinate parts stock transfers between branches.
- Support Bailey Company sales representatives with quoting and pricing assistance.
- Help with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions.
- Actively support all sectors of the Bailey Company by meeting departmental needs.
- Comply with the company’s safety, training, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education/Training/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years related experience

- Willingness and ability to work with new computer programs.
- Ability to interact with customers and employees in person and over the phone.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills - including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

- Experience in parts sourcing, inventory management, or related roles is preferred.
