Job Description
As an Optometric Technician, you will be working side by side with the Doctors during patient exams. Optometric technicians collect patient medical history, perform preliminary vision and eye health screening, and assist with fitting contacts. We are looking for self-motivated and dependable individuals who understand the importance of patient care. We will train you to possess the required job skills.
As an Optical/Sales Associate, you will be assisting patients with selecting fashionable glasses. Will assist patients with frame selection, make frame adjustments and repairs, and measure patients for the lenses their doctor prescribed. We are looking for a creative and expressive individual who understands the importance of patient care. On the job training is provided.
As a Patient Coordinator, you will be assisting patients with their appointments. This employee will assist patients with purchasing glasses and contacts, answer the phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments. We are looking for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and understand the importance of patient care. And, as with the previous positions, we will train you to possess the required job skills.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Demonstrate self-motivation
- Be well organized and able to multi task during busy schedules
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills
- As necessitated through the appropriate job description above, work with patients in eyewear and sunglass selection
- Work with managers to ensure comprehensive completion of all operational tasks
- Ensure that all optical related objectives are met
- Ability to assess and resolve, when possible, patient issues regarding prescription eyewear
- Ensure that patients are properly educated regarding their vision or medical insurance, their visual needs, and the available lens options
- Ensures that all objectives are met

- Timely arrival to work for scheduled shifts
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs and stand for long periods of time
