Organizational Relationships:
Reports directly to Tom Birchfield
Bailey-Harris Construction Co., Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate possesses 1 years of related office experience. We are seeking someone who can be an independent self-starter whose duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the Huntsville office; either through telephone or face to face
- Provide general administrative support to various departments within the organization
- Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Coordinate meetings and appointments, including scheduling and sending out reminders
- Assist with event planning and logistics
- Perform basic research tasks as needed
- Coordinate the stock of supplies and equipment for day-to-day office operations
- Collaborate with team members on special projects as assigned
- Run local errands
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous office or administrative experience
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Knowledge of basic office management software and tools
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and tasks
- Must be responsible, reliable and dependable
