Parts Specialist

-Ability to lift over 60 lbs and work in a commercial repair shop setting
Summary
In the role of Parts specialist you will be integral to the smooth operation of repair parts department, reporting directly to the Office Manager. Your responsibilities will include ordering and tracking parts, managing clerical tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining organized filing systems. Your mechanical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office will further enhance your ability to support our team effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Ordering parts from multiple vendors, tracking and making sure they are correct
- Working with our existing employees to order correct parts and ensure tasks are done timely
- Office tasks including filing and data entry of parts and other items, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other software for various tasks
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and accurate record-keeping.
- Tracking parts orders and processing accordingly
- Support additional shop and office activities as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
