Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales develops and executes a sales and strategy/plan across all sales markets and channels that supports the profitable growth goals of the company. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our sales organization and contribute to the long term development of our organization.
Position Responsibilities
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for but not limited to the following:
Ensures success in developing and achieving company business plan goals including internal/organic and external/acquisition growth initiatives, growing sales and profitability
Develops and effectively communicates a sales vision for the Hydraulics Business Unit.
Leads strategic sales growth and meets targeted monthly and annual sales goals
Analyzes market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive product development initiative.
Develops metric driven sales priorities including commission and/or incentive structure for all levels of the sales force
Participates in the quarterly Board Meetings and presents to the Board of Directors on a quarterly and ad-hoc basis
Leads the culture and core values of the company through superior customer service and customer relationships
Facilitates and delivers positive resolution of client account challenges by translating customer needs into marketable service enhancements
Leads new customer- facing program development and solutions
Leads and mentors the Sales leadership team
Enhances and maintains sales processes and systems to ensure positive interaction within the organization

Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills, including leadership, communication, planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or other industry-related field required or equivalent work experience.
At least ten years of progressive industry-related experience including five years in a leadership/ executive role required.
Experience participating in acquisitions and mergers in the Sales space
Experience leading multi location related initiatives in the Sales space
