OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Design Intern who’s passionate about advertising and seriously interested in a career in design at an advertising agency. The Design Intern will get to work on real brands and help solve real business challenges.
Candidates must be familiar with layout and photo retouching and have experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. You should possess solid typography, graphic and interactive design skills. You'll be tackling projects on some major clients, bringing their brands to life and creating killer work in the process. To be considered, please include a link to your online portfolio.
The Design Intern will get to work alongside our award-winning creative team to help craft eye-catching design systems, logos, campaign ads and more including:
· Assist the creative team in developing assets to support ongoing and new campaigns
· Extend a brand established look and feel across individual components
· Make updates and revisions to print ads, digital banners, direct mail pieces, posters and other collateral
· Harness your storytelling skills to develop compelling content that communicates clearly
· Ensure quality of end deliverables ready to hand-off to production
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure deadlines are met
· Expand your communication and presentation skills
· Learn new platforms and software
· Develop as a well-rounded creative by participating in brainstorming/concepting
This summer internship runs from June 3 to August 7, with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week. In-office attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our downtown Omaha office, with the opportunity for additional hours based on department needs.
