What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Bather position at Bailey's Daily Pet Care?
Responsible for bathing, drying and brushing pets.
Primary Responsibilites:
- Bathe, dry, brush pets
- Check in and out guests
- Positive reinforcement for good behavior
- Handle all animals with professional and proper restraints when necessary
- Assess an animal from head to toe for disease or distress
- Clean and disinfect tubs, grooming tables, dirty kennels, dirty bowls, laundry, etc.
- Remove and disinfect animal waste
- Answer phone calls
- Book appointments
- Provide information about animals such as behavior, facility activities, amenities for the animals and more
- Provide information about our facility, services, quality standards and more
- Administer medications
- Perform first aid on an injured pet
- Record food take, physical and mental condition, medications given, etc.
- Ensure safe transport of animals
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- New Hartford, NY 13413: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (Preferred)
