Furniture Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves handling inventory, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

• Stock shelves and organize inventory to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Operate pallet jacks and order pickers to move materials as needed.
• Utilize RF scanners for accurate tracking of inventory and shipments.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for.
• Perform basic fabrication tasks as required to prepare products for shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various warehouse equipment effectively.
• Experience in warehouse management practices is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by job duties.
• Proficiency in using pallet jacks, order pickers, and RF scanners.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
