What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing Specialist position at Bailey's Medical Equipment & Pharmacy?
We are a growing, fast paced Medical Equipment Company seeking the right candidate with the following skills to join our team! The hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. The Customer Service Representative will report directly to the Office Manager and will have the following responsibilities:
- Response to all incoming calls and walk-in patients.
- Input orders into our Electronic Software.
- Verify that all paperwork is completed on each order and properly filled.
- Verify insurance eligibility, copayments, and deductibles information.
- Coordinate and Schedule deliveries.
- Verify and confirm discharge dates from Facilities (i.e. Hospitals, Rehab Centers, SNF, etc.)
- Collect payments.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
