Bailey is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Dock & Door Technician to join our team! The Lead Dock & Door Technician is responsible for installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and inspecting commercial / industrial overhead doors, loading docks, dock leveling systems, and other warehouse equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Represent Bailey as the primary contact for commercial Dock & Door customers, building strong relationships through excellent service.
- Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial doors, door opening systems, warehouse docks, and dock leveling systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on Bailey equipment and systems at customer locations to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dock and door equipment, mechanisms, mechanical systems, and electrical circuits.
- Ensure installations meet quality standards by checking for proper alignment, balance, and clearance.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and safe service, proactively addressing customer needs and identifying opportunities to expand Bailey’s business.
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
