What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trail Guide/wrangler position at Bailiwick Animal Park?
We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our team as wranglers/guides in full or part time seasonal positions. We offer guided mountain trail rides to the general public. We cater mostly to beginner riders, so safety is #1 priority. Rides are from a half hour up to several hours.
Customer service and solid riding ability is a must for all of our guides. The ideal candidate will have experience at WTC, know their leads, and basic groundwork knowledge. Staff will have the opportunity to learn specifics and eventually should be comfortable being able to help advance the horses in their education with the goal of creating safe, good minded horses suitable for guests of all riding abilities.
4-8 hour shifts, 9am to 5pm. Some weekends and holiday availability are required.
Must be able to:

-able to lift 50lbs and able to remain on your feet for long periods of time
-have a love for the outdoors and willingness to work in all weather
As this is a working ranch, staff are expected to participate in all aspects of work in the daily care of horses and other animals from feeding, mucking, barn chores, and general maintenance.
Other responsibilities include riding, catching, grooming, saddling, teaching and interacting with guests.
