We’re looking for a Grain Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep operations running safely and efficiently. What You'll be Doing:
- Performing Maintenance & Repairs: Work on grain handling equipment, conveyors, elevators, and other machinery to ensure smooth operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot issues to maintain a secure work environment.
- Welding & Fabrication: Use wire feed and stick welding for repairs and minor fabrication.
- Equipment Upkeep: Assist with maintenance of trucks and trailers, including oil changes, brake replacements, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Recordkeeping: Utilize a computerized maintenance system to log repairs and track work orders.
- Shop & Field Work: Split time between the shop and elevator sites to address maintenance needs efficiently.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experienced Technician: 7 years in grain elevator maintenance, industrial repair, or a similar role.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in electrical systems, hydraulics, and general equipment maintenance.
- Safety-First Mindset: Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety procedures.
- Adaptable & Hardworking: Comfortable working in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
- CDL & Electrical Knowledge (Preferred): Class A or B CDL and electrical experience are a plus.
