What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wholesale Sales Coordinator position at Baily International of Atlanta?
- Assist and work closely with the wholesale/Redistribution team to assess the progress of the department and develop sales strategies, while managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation both pre-sale and post-sale.
- Prepare and follow up on sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for client(s) and company.
- Liaise between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
- Responsible for maintaining sales records as a basis for reports to the executive management team.
- Place orders, maintain good professional relationship with customers.
- Additional job duties/responsibilities as assigned.
- Must have excellent organizational, administrative, time management and communication skills. Ability to deliver high standards of customer service. Competent in MS Office or equivalent.
- Working conditions - Works in an office setting/environment sitting for long periods of time, with repetitive computer and telephone use.
- (PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with 2 years experience in the Food Distribution industry (or) an Associate’s degree and 3 years experience in the Food Distribution industry (or) the equivalent combination of education and experience.
