Service Advisor
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Communicate with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Provide estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
- Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Upsell additional services or maintenance packages as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an automotive service advisor role preferred
- Knowledge of auto repair, diesel engine repair, shocks/struts, tire service, brake repair, and oil changes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for recordkeeping and communication purposes
