About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Recreation Program Leader to join our team. This individual will be responsible for planning, implementing, and leading recreation programs that promote physical activity, socialization, and personal growth among participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead program sessions that cater to diverse participant needs.
- Design and deliver a variety of recreation programs, including classes, workshops, and trips.
- Establish and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervise staff and participants during program activities.
- Respond to first aid and emergency situations according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years old.
- Basic computer skills necessary.
- Extensive experience in a related field.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clear background check.
Work Environment
This workplace is smoke-free. Depending on the program, work may be performed indoors or outdoors using Park District facilities or public areas.
