Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing all aspects of HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in professional services, a deep understanding of HR practices and employment law, and the ability to cultivate a positive and engaging work environment.The ideal candidate for this role is an enthusiastic self-starter, who canmulti-taskundertime constraints with exceptional attention to detail,takes initiative and thinks strategically. The position requires excellentorganizational, technical and peopleskills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring for various positions within the organization.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and confidentiality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Stay current on employment laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and recommend best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and serve as a trusted advisor to employees at all levels.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team leads to stay current on projected hiring needs and team performance
  • Manage relationships with HR vendors, including our PEO, to optimize services and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support organizational growth and employee engagement.
  • Create and deliver training materials for new hires and ongoing professional development sessions.
  • Support the performance review process and provide constructive feedback to enhance employee performance and career development.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR coordination within professional services (financial services, wealth management, consulting, legal services preferred).
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR practices, and compliance issues.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS and office productivity software; experience with implementing HR technology solutions and apps is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to collaborate with Operations team and assist on special projects when needed
  • Passion for learning and professional growth, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
