The candidate will work with engineers, project managers, and other technical staff. Work will involve preparation of civil engineering drawings, gathering data, and presenting information in graphical form. This role will require the candidate to produce quality work, while meeting the budget and schedules of multiple concurrent projects.

Job Description
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transforming initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction documents
- Drafting detail drawings of marinas, wharfs, bulkhead walls, piers, bridges, ferry terminals, hydraulic structures, structures (steel, concrete, timber & masonry) and shoreline construction (beaches, nourishment, revetments, breakwaters)
- Reviewing engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established CAD standards
- Interacting and coordinating with all stakeholders (engineers, sampling group, construction, clients, subcontractors, government agencies, etc.)

Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Must have working knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural details, the development of horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, profiles, sections, quantities, surfaces, and knowledge of CAD standards
- Must have sound knowledge of engineering design principles and construction methods
- Required software experience:
- 5 years Autodesk Civil 3D
- 5 years Microstation/OpenRoads Designer
- 5 years BIM/Revit
- Ideal software experience:
- Bluebeam
- Inventor
- Advance Steel
- Navisworks
- Recap
- 3ds Max
