Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Skilled Manufacturing Labor to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and assembling hardwood products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision. As a Skilled Manufacturing Labor, you will play a critical role in the production of our hardwood products, from raw material to finished product.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate woodworking machinery and tools to machine and assemble hardwood products, including doors and mouldings
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
· Measure, cut, and shape wood accurately to meet product requirements
· Assemble components using various joinery techniques, ensuring structural integrity and quality
· Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process
· Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
· Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
· Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proven experience in woodworking, machining, and assembly of hardwood products
· Proficiency with woodworking machinery and hand tools
· Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and woodworking techniques
· Excellent attention to detail and precision
· Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
· Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
