The Investment Solutions team within Baird Private Wealth Management (PWM) plays a key role in ensuring that Baird Financial Advisors have the tools and capabilities across our investment, liquidity, and insured solutions’ platforms necessary for delivering great outcomes for our clients. Strategically at Baird, we believe that delivering a great Wealth Management Experience for clients is built upon three pillars: Investment Consulting, Advanced Planning, and Relationship Management.
The Investment Products Consultant is responsible for partnering with Financial Advisors, Branch Associates, Portfolio Managers, and other Key Partners seeking information on the Mutual Funds, ETFs, Donor Advised funds, and Exchange Funds available across the platform and assists with the day-to-day management of multiple solutions. The Associate will work with various areas of the firm to develop guidelines, tools, and best practices in support of the business, and will also incorporate external and internal feedback to ensure our Clients and Financial Advisors have the appropriate resources at their disposal.

As An Investment Products Consultant, You Will
- Serve as a subject matter expert to Financial Advisors, Branch Associates, Portfolio Managers, and other Key Partners to educate them on general inquiries about Mutual Funds, ETFs, Exchange Funds and Donor Advised Funds.
- Create marketing materials to help provide education to clients on Mutual Funds ETFs, Exchange Funds and Donor Advised Funds.
- Manage relationships and maintaining in-depth familiarity with the broad platform in support of Baird Financial Advisors and Portfolio Managers.
- Work with Baird internal partners, the branch network, and associates within Investment Solutions to implement process and service enhancements.
- Play a key role in coordinating and executing policy decisions as well as the ongoing platform maintenance that is required to ensure the firm is compliant with REG BI policies, including but not limited to, an annual Mutual Fund and ETF rationalization.
- Stay informed of industry and regulatory developments to help identify and address gaps within the platform.
- Assist in addressing immediate operational issues regarding the Investment Product platform with the branch network.
- Assist with mapping Financial Advisors transitioning to Baird into appropriate products and services.

- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial services industry required
- SIE, Series 7 & 66 licenses required within 12 months of start date
- Ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms (Thomson ONE, ValueOne, Morningstar, etc.)
- Exceptional client service skills including both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills – ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to act as a team player, assisting others in the department when necessary
