The Investment Support Specialist provides a wide variety of administrative and support services to one or more Portfolio Managers of Baird Trust and other investment support areas as necessary. Primary responsibilities include client service support, administrative duties, and client reporting support.

In This Position You Will
- Support Portfolio Managers through monitoring, reporting and compliance duties related to investment management.
- Assist clients and Baird Financial Advisors with investment related requests.
- Prepare materials used in client meetings.
- Coordination of reports and documents supporting the Trust Investment Committee.
- Research, gather, and compile data for reports and summaries from a variety of sources.
- Perform client service activities, including responding to client inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, events and/or travel arrangements.
- Establish, update, and maintain files, inventories, records and data management systems.
- Coordinate the timely review and filing of client Investment Policy Statements.
- Assist investment team with client brokerage accounts.
- Monitor and update portfolio management accounting system as necessary.
- Assist with the planning, coordinating and arrangements for various departmental functions including client meetings and vendor meetings.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

- Ability to work with a variety of teams and leaders, proving your ability to be flexible and highly adaptable.
- High School diploma required. Associate degree; Vocational or Business school preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of administrative support experience in securities-related industry preferred.
- Familiarity with basic investment concepts, practices and procedures preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email.
- The ability to multitask effectively.
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Staying current and understanding firm policy and procedures.
