We are seeking a driven, goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Structural Drafter Summer Intern at Baisch Engineering. This is an in-person position based in our Kaukauna, Wisconsin office.
The paid summer internship role involves assisting in the development of construction drawing sets utilizing Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks on a wide range of industrial projects. You will have the opportunity to learn and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) protocols, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and develop an understanding of architectural concerns, building codes, and OSHA requirements for building structures supporting large heavy industrial and pulp and paper industries.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Assist in the creation of construction drawings and documentation
- Learn and implement BIM protocols to enhance project efficiency
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to generate coordinated projects
- Develop your skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
