Job Summary
We seek a compassionate and skilled individual to oversee the daily operations of our bakery while supporting and mentoring employees with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in special education, experience in a bakery or restaurant setting, and strong leadership skills. Good organizational skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bakery operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise, train, and support employees with intellectual disabilities in baking and customer service tasks.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
- Receive and process in-store orders and payments.
- Assist the marketing manager with social media content and promotional efforts.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring necessary supplies are stocked.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and independence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification in Special Education or proven track record of success in the intellectually disabled community (required).
- Experience in baking, food service, or restaurant management (Certified Food Safety Certificate preferred).
- Strong people skills with a caring, sensitive, and adaptable approach.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to the mission of inclusive employment.
- Must be available to work 24-28 hours each week

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
