Barista and Cashier

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated & passionate Barista & Cashier to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

The ideal candidate should have a love for coffee along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages according to customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.

Experience

• Previous experience as a barista & cashier is required.
• Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions are essential.
• Experience with POS systems or cash registers is a plus.
• A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
