Baked by Melissa is looking for a Packaging Designer to bring our brand to life through fun, creative, and beautifully designed packaging! From our iconic cupcake sleeves to seasonal gift boxes, one-of-a-kind influencer mailers, and custom packaging for brand collabs - you’ll own it all, making sure every package that leaves our bakery is as delightful as the treats inside.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end design process for all packaging materials, from evergreen products to seasonal and limited-time offerings.
- Develop innovative packaging solutions that are both visually compelling and functionally effective.
- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and product teams to ensure all packaging aligns with brand strategy and business goals.
- Ensure all packaging aligns with the Baked by Melissa brand identify, maintaining a consistent and elevated look and feel.
- Create detailed dielines, mockups, and production-ready files, working closely with print vendors to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Support the team with ad hoc design projects, including B2B materials, visual merchandising assets, and promotional collateral.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and innovations in packaging, print production, and materials.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, balancing deadlines, revisions, and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in packaging design (experience in CPG, food & beverage, or retail is a plus).
- A strong portfolio showcasing packaging design, branding, and print production expertise.
- Illustration skills with the ability to create custom graphics, patterns, and icons that enhance packaging and print materials.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- A solid understanding of dielines, materials, print production, and finishing techniques.
- Experience collaborating with print vendors and overseeing production from concept to final product.
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- A trend-savvy, innovative mindset, always looking for new ways to elevate design and packaging experiences.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
