Director, Business Systems: The Impact You’ll Have On The Organization and World

- Assume ownership of the current SAP application.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business strategic direction, business needs and drivers, and existing systems. Facilitate alignment of IT strategies to business objectives.
- Partner with enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps.
- Advocate for an awareness and focus on business partner strategic plans.
- Provides a single point of coordination and leadership oversight for all Business Applications initiatives and transformation projects.
- Partner and leverage AMS partners to manage the configuration and setup of the ERP-related solutions, Managing SLA/KPIs.
- Contribute to the IT Strategy, development of the IT Project Portfolio, and the ongoing application enhancement engine.
- Interprets business requirements, identifies & recommends opportunities for productivity improvements and implements.
- Using professional knowledge of the SAP ERP suite of tools and other related applications, help the organization drive efficiencies by identifying and deploying tools and knowledge across the business which simplify the way we work across the globe.
- Leads project prioritization process, obtaining stakeholder buy in, identifying and promoting those projects which will improve value by increasing EBITDA, cashflow, compliance and safety.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management or related technology field is required.
- 8 – 10 years in managing large scale projects related to ERP migrations, implementations, or systems management.
- 5 years of vendor management capability, with the ability to drive world class performance from external suppliers.
- Strong experience working with C-level stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP ECC in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Proven track record of success in leading SAP Solution designs and implementations, including ECC consolidation/migration projects (moving from another ERP to SAP ECC).
- Broad range of experience preferred including finance, procurement, supply chain/manufacturing operations, and customer facing functions including sales & marketing.
- Strong experience in Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform) as platforms of choice for running SAP applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
- A strong innovation streak that helps you create unique solutions and differentiators that accentuate your organizations’ positioning in the chosen space.
- Exceptional influence and negotiating skills.
- Excellent analytical, global strategic conceptual thinking, planning and consulting skills.
- Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.
