Summary:
Under direct supervision coordinates activities of workers concerned with shipping and receiving of stored goods and all other warehouse activities. A working foreperson may not hire, terminate, or issue warning notices to any employee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform nightly selection duties as required by workflow and assigns duties to warehouse personnel.
Reviews results of productivity and returns reports and compares them to established objectives, and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
Follows up on ALL customer requests and questions to ensure appropriate response is made and customer is satisfied.
Treats all customers (both internal and external) with respect, courtesy and kindness.
Upholds and complies with policies and attitudes adopted by the company.
Accepts responsibility to think about how my actions and actions of my associates affect our customers and our company.
All warehouse activities shipping, receiving, slotting, sanitation, equipment, and truck loading.
Ensures all orders are accurate.
At the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor invoices routes making sure that all outs and quantity changes are completed.
Operates lift truck, stock picker, hand truck, and pallet jack.
At the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor Sets loading schedule each night.
Check pick sheets for any errors or mis-keyed items as directed
Security of facility after daily business hours as directed.
Assists in preparation work schedules and expedites work flow.
Issues written and oral instructions to warehouse crew as directed.
Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Uses computer to enter data for various reports.
In association with the Warehouse Supervisor maintains harmony among workers and resolves problems.
Makes decisions at night after regular business hours.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
One year certificate from collage or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
