About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and skilled Senior Buyer to join our team at BakeMark. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in managing our inventory levels, optimizing our purchasing operations, and ensuring adherence to our quality standards.
Main Accountabilities:
- Place replenishment orders to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Calculate economic order quantities, prepare and place purchase orders, and review vendor confirmations for accuracy.
- Oversee branch inventory levels for assigned vendors using tools such as the MARS forecasting module and relevant reports.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 10-20 years of experience as a Senior Buyer in the food industry.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
