ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Supervises and trains team leaders in the coordination of activities on the production line.
2. Oversees respective production lines and provides coaching to team members for growth within the organization.
3. Ensures the production schedule, quality, and safety standards are maintained at company levels.
4. Maximizes labor efficiencies while adhering to proper company policies, procedures, and safety standards
5. Leads, through team leaders, all team members engaged in manufacturing products (i.e. mixing, processing, handling, proofing, baking, frying, and packaging of all food products).
6. Provides hands-on leadership to ensure profitable growth through improved operational efficiencies and that adequate resources and supplies are used efficiently and conservatively.
7. Monitors quality control and compliance functions and utilizes appropriate resources, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, Research and Development, Information Technology, etc.
8. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures such as HACCP, Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and works to eliminate reoccurring violations.
9. Coaches team leaders to understand and share company goals and KPIs as well as how to achieve them
10. Ensures formula and process improvements are shared and implemented by all teams
11. Ensures all policies, procedures, and regulations are followed to produce a safe, quality, and legal product.
12. Attends to injured team members immediately, obtains medical assistance if necessary, and completes proper Workforce Safety paperwork
13. Motivates others to accept and support change.
14. Increases personal knowledge and information through educational opportunities.
15. Participates in the evaluation process of team leaders and team members.
16. Utilizes coaching tools such as Coach to Success and Performance Improvement Plans to mentor and grow team members’ knowledge within the company.
17. Utilizes Microsoft Office Products and Redzone to report daily activities.
18. Performs the team leader’s task in the team leader’s absence.
19. Accepts work assignments from the Production Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Scheduling, and other department managers as needed.
