About the Information Security Internship:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector? Baker Boyer Bank is seeking a motivated intern to work directly with our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and contribute to the security of our banking operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Risk Assessments: Help conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the bank's information systems.
- Monitor Security Systems: Support the monitoring of security systems and respond to potential security incidents.
- Develop Security Policies: Collaborate in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct Security Audits: Participate in regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Research Emerging Threats: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and assist in developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
What We Offer:
- Pay: $16.66 per hour
- 4 hours of holiday pay on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
*Number of paid holidays will be subject to the internship start and end dates.
