Summary
The Director of Quality provides technical support, manages quality control (QC) processes, ensures compliance with standards, oversees QC staffing, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic Region and beyond. This role is key to maintaining Baker's high-quality standards and supporting project teams through proactive planning, audits, and training.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Director of Quality will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner :
- Provides preconstruction, operational and regional support
- Manages regional QA / QC program standards
- Manages QC startup process and QC inspector team
- Performs monthly project audits and check -ins
- Manages pour card process regionally
- Manages / Works with project teams for QC-related situations
- Performs quality-related training support
- Develops best practices
- Develops and update OPS report library
- Participates in training and certifications
