Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is passionate about working with children and families. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developmental screenings, behavioral health assessments, and managing conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and anxiety.
Key Responsibilities:
*Primarily work closely with pediatrics and families to develop personalized treatment plans and provide education on mental health.
*Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, educators, and specialists.
*Utilize evidence-based guidelines to provide medication management, therapy referrals, and care coordination.
*Provide telehealth consultations and in-person visits to ensure accessible care.
*Maintain accurate and detailed documentation within the EMR system.
Qualifications:
*Licensed NP and able to practice in New Jersey and New York (or eligible)
*Experience in pediatric mental health is strongly preferred.
*Completion of the REACH course is a plus.
*Strong knowledge of ADHD, autism, and childhood behavioral disorders
*Ability to interpret developmental screening tools (e.g., M-CHAT, ASQ, Vanderbilt)
*Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills
*Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-based environment
Salary : $140,000 - $190,000
