The Purpose of the Business Process Architect Senior is multi-faceted and includes assistance with product sales, software implementation and industry guidance. The BPA Senior aides the sales team by sharing industry and product knowledge with current and prospective clients. During software implementations the BPA Senior provides industry knowledge, best practice recommendations, strategic and tactical recommendations, and configuration assistance. Industry guidance includes assisting existing clients with workflow and process improvements, score card management and analysis and other areas of improvement.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
- Prepares for and conducts on-site meetings with external clients. These can be tied to software implementation or industry guidance.
- Prepares by reviewing existing client policies, procedures and other documentation.
- Leads the client through discussions including strategic and tactical recommendations, policy and process review, workflow analysis, roles/responsibilities and configuration.
- Documents these findings for the client.
- Shares all findings with the internal project team and is available to answer any client or project team questions.
- May also perform score card analysis including evaluation cut-off reviews, gray area strategy analysis and score card validations.
- Other duties include but are not limited to, developing and leading training sessions for both internal and external clients, presentations at various industry conferences, submission of articles for the Baker Hill newsletter
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- 5 years of banking experience in credit lending or equivalent
- 5 years Excel, Word, PPT
- 5 years Financial statement analysis
- Excellent Financial analysis skills
- Excellent banking industry knowledge
- Experience with various origination and portfolio management score cards
- Small Business, Commercial or Consumer lending experience is preferred, but not required.
- Knows how to lead group discussions/workshops and document findings.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent presentation skills including presentations to large groups and C-level executives
- The BPA will be involved in sales, software implementations, data analysis and consulting engagements
