You will be part of the electrical & control engineering team in Ahrensburg & Wunstorf executing new developments and customer-focused systems. You will participate in the design of industrial x-ray and compute tomography systems at Waygate Technologies. You will work with crossfunctional team to deliver new solutions and customer projects.

As an Automation & Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing of controls (automation concepts) for standard systems and customised machines and systems
- Develop the PLC code during the design phase by using a digital twin in the early phase and prototypes in the final phase
- Supporting from the project phase through the order processing to commissioning
- Support the technical writers (User or Service Manuals, Assembly or Test Procedures etc.)
- Taking care of execution and change management.
- Supporting of the Project process and contribute to mandatory Project Reviews
- Support the life circle team with upgrades and service requests
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have completed studies in electrical engineering / automation technology or a comparable course
- Have good knowledge of B&R Automation Studio (PLC programming and high-level languages)
- Have proven professional experience in the field of control development / automation
- Have knowledge of Non Destructive Testing technology, especially Radiography equipment
- Be self-motivated, goal-oriented and innovative
- Be able to speak fluent English and German and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
