2025 Harris Products Group: Engineering Development Program (Mason, OH)

The Harris Products Group (HPG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Lincoln Electric Company, is a world leader in metal working products used in the brazing, soldering, welding, cutting and gas distribution industries. The company was formed in 2006 with the merger of Harris Calorific, Inc., a manufacturer of gas welding and cutting equipment and gas regulation and distribution systems, and the J.W. Harris Co., a manufacturer of brazing and soldering alloys and welding consumables.

The Harris Products Group currently operates manufacturing facilities in Mason, Ohio, USA; Gainesville, Georgia, USA, Dzierzonow, Poland, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Each is ISO 9001 certified for quality management systems. Demonstrating a commitment to stewardship of the global environment, these facilities are also ISO 14001 certified for environmental management systems.

Purpose

This Engineering Development Program is an ideal entry point to the vast opportunities available to you within the Harris Products Group. Completing this development program will help you to gain in-depth knowledge about The Harris Products Group's solutions which include, brazing, soldering, welding, cutting and specialty gas equipment, each of these provides a unique and viable career path.

The Harris Products Group Engineering Development Program will provide meaningful experiences that will build upon your education. Engineering Development Program hires will be based in Mason, Ohio. This position will challenge your engineering skills and provide an opportunity to launch into your new engineering career.

Throughout the 3 to 6 months program, you will spend time in the following departments:

• Finance
• Project Management
• Marketing
• Procurement
• Planning
• Purchasing
• Sales
  
  

At the conclusion of the program, you will move into an Engineering level 1 position in one of our manufacturing departments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors of Engineering degree with a preference for Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Science Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Ability to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.
• Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
• Desire to work independently and as part of a team
