Baker Furniture is seeking a Spring Up Technician who applies spring material to the seat of an upholstery frame to meet the product specifications.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport frame to the workstation and places onto work table, lift or bucks
• Sort springs needed for the frame
• Staple and stretch springs to the frame in the appropriate pattern
• Apply metal band to the frame depending on the style and required seat firmness
• Use hand tools, such as staple guns, mallets, clinchers, and similar tools
• Correct all mistakes on the piece before moving to the next work area
• Apply springs, coils, Restoflex units, inspect, clean up, and label

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 years experience in similar field
• Excellent communication with clients, associates, and fellow Leaders
• Ability to work independently
• Team player with an enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
• Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
• Effectively manage multiple projects and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Detail-oriented and uphold brand integrity
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
• Ability to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

• High End Furniture: 3 years (Required)
• Spring Up: 3 years (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.97 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
