Position Overview
As a Probate Attorney at Baker Law Group, you will manage a caseload focused on probate and estate administration. This is a client-facing role with significant autonomy, supported by experienced attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff. We are looking for someone who is not only technically proficient in probate matters but also brings compassion and clarity to clients navigating complex and emotional processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide personal representatives, beneficiaries, and heirs through the probate process
- Draft and file probate documents, including petitions, inventories, and final accountings
- Administer estates from start to finish, including asset distribution and resolution of creditor claims
- Represent clients in uncontested and contested probate matters, as applicable
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate case handling
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Colorado
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling probate matters
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
