Baker Metal Works is adding a salesperson to our Troy, AL team. The Baker Metal Troy Location is conveniently located just off.
Alabama Route 10.
Our inside salespeople are responsible for ensuring accurate orders and providing exceptional customer service. Throughout the day, the associate has the opportunity to leave a lasting impression on our customers and their experience with our company. It is this associate's responsibility to ensure that customers' needs are met and to build positive relationships with them.
- Hourly Full-Time scheduled 50 hours per week M-F; hours may be required depending on location needs in Troy, AL.
- To perform job duties, one must be able to stand, sit, and perform other activities for prolonged periods.
- A minimum of 50 pounds must be able to be lifted without assistance; 100 pounds may be lifted with or without assistance.
What You Need to Succeed
- A minimum of three years experience in construction or building materials sales is preferred.
- Professional Demeanor / Attitude
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and construction drawings
- Construction background or general understanding is a plus
- Roofing, sheet metal, or building experience is also a plus
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
