Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Services Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a positive experience for our patients by providing exceptional administrative support in a medical or dental office setting. The ideal candidate would have previous setting and be proficient in handling various office tasks to facilitate smooth operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients in a positive professional manner via telephone and in person
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Assists patients with initial forms and enter patient information into practice management software and verify information entered is accurate for billing purposes
- Collect patient payment obligations
- Respond timely to email and phone requests
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multi task
- Strict attention to detail
- Proven ability and desire to take initiative
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate needs to superiors in a timely fashion with a drive to enhance processes and complete follow up
- Maintain strict compliance to HIPPA and patient privacy
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
